Autumn Nest

Two friends in their cozy fall pumpkin house.
I made this piece last fall with pens, watercolor pencils, and colored pencils. This time of year is always so inspirational for me. From the multi-colored leaves that fall and dance in the wind, while the cats watch intently through the window at the scattering array of those colors, to the grey and chilly days that just make me want to curl up inside my own little pumpkin house and capture the feelings of the season. My hope for this piece is that it brings the viewer a cozy feeling of comfort and peace.
